Local author Dr. Audrey Paul will speak on the newest developments for treating  concussions.

Dr. Audrey Paul, author of Concussion: Your Game Plan for Recovery, will be joining us on Tuesday, May 18 for a presentation and discussion on what has been learned about concussions and the best ways to treat them. This is part of the club's Local Author Series.

In her book, Dr. Paul shares research that shows how past approaches to treating concussions were often ineffective and sometimes harmful and how more active techniques are now producing better results. This talk may be of interest to athletes, family members of athletes, those who have suffered concussions and others with interest in this timely topic.

Dr Paul, a resident of Westport and Harvard alumna, holds both an MD and a PhD from the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine.
