The Healing Power of Resilience: A Conversation with Dr. Tara Narula

Join the Harvard Club for an afternoon with Dr. Tara Narula at the Greenwich Historical Society!

What if we treated resilience as a powerful prescription, integral to healing and long-term health?

The Harvard Club of Fairfield County and the Stanford Club of CT & Westchester are delighted to co-host an afternoon with Dr. Tara Narula, cardiologist, ABC News Chief Medical Correspondent, and author of the instant New York Times bestseller The Healing Power of Resilience (Simon & Schuster, January 2026).

In this groundbreaking new book, Dr. Narula reveals that resilience is a science-backed skill that can be cultivated and strengthened. Drawing on her experience caring for patients facing life-altering diagnoses, she bridges medicine and psychology to explore how building resilience can support recovery and promote disease prevention. Her message is both practical and empowering. With a basic set of skills and tools, we can strengthen our capacity to navigate adversity and support long-term physical and emotional health.

Dr. Narula will share key insights from her work, followed by ample time for audience Q&A. Dr. Narula earned her bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and completed her residency in internal medicine at Harvard University/Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

The afternoon will include light bites and refreshments, along with an opportunity to connect with fellow Stanford and Harvard alumni and guests. Books will be available for purchase.

We hope you can join us!
