Virtual Event with Local Author Nina Sankovitch - April 9

Nina Sankovitch, a long-time Westport resident and acclaimed author, is an avid historian and voracious reader.  On Thursday, April 9th, Nina will give an online talk to our club about Not Your Founding Father: How a Nonbinary Minster Became America’s Most Radical Revolutionary, which is her fifth book of nonfiction.  You can learn more about the book at Not Your Founding Father: How a Nonbinary Minister Beca….

A graduate of Harvard Law School, Nina worked as an environmental lawyer for the Natural Resources Defense Council and as President and Executive Director of Save the Sound in Connecticut.  Her earlier books include American Rebels, a fascinating account of the Hancock, Adams and Quincy families, and The Lowells of Massachusetts. She gave an outstanding talk to our club about The Lowells, which tells tales across  generations of a family with many strong connections to Harvard.
