Harvard Club Annual Dinner with Congressman Jim Himes, '88
Hon. James Andrew Himes, Representative for Connecticut's 4th Congressional District, will be the speaker at our 2025 annual dinner on Friday, May 30 at the Milbrook Club.
Please join us for the Club's Annual Meeting and Dinner on Friday, May 30, at the beautiful Milbrook Club in Greenwich. We are holding this event earlier than normal to take advantage of an extraordinary opportunity to welcome Congressman Jim Himes as our featured speaker. Congressman Himes is an alumnus of Harvard College, Class of 1988, where he was captain of the lightweight crew. He went on to study as a Rhodes scholar at St. Edmunds Hall, Oxford, where he was awarded a Master of Philosophy degree in Latin American studies. Before serving in Congress, he was a banker in both Latin America and the United States with Goldman Sachs. He has represented our area in the House for over 15 years, and currently serves as the ranking member of the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, as well as sitting on the Committee on Financial Services.
We will begin with cocktails and conversation at 6 pm, with dinner (including a brief annual meeting) starting at 7 pm. Congressman Himes's remarks will follow, with a lively question and answer.
We will also welcome students in Harvard’s newly admitted class of 2029 from our area to the Harvard community.
We hope you will join us for this very special evening!
