On Sunday, October 17th the Harvard Club will enjoy the season-opening Tchaikovsky Festival concert of the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra. Led by Jonathan Yates '97, the orchestra has achieved growing acclaim. The concert features violin soloist Jennifer Frautschi '95, a two-time GRAMMY nominee.

The cost is just $30 for members and their guests, $35 for non-members, including both a discounted ticket and the reception.
Jonathan Yates is the seventh Music Director of the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra in its seventy-two year history. He has earned high praise as a conductor, solo pianist and collaborative artist for his musicianship, intellect and the remarkable variety of his musical endeavors. In his first year at the NSO, he significantly expanded the orchestra’s presence in its community, inaugurating the NSO Chamber Concert Series, which provided free chamber concerts in different locations throughout Fairfield County. He also revived the orchestra’s popular (Not) Just for Kids Educational Outreach programs.
Two-time GRAMMY nominee and Avery Fisher career grant recipient Jennifer Frautschi has garnered worldwide acclaim as an adventurous musician with a remarkably wide-ranging repertoire. Highlights of her past season included performances with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and Tucson Symphony, as well as return engagements with the Alabama, Arkansas, Belo Horizonte , Chattanooga, Phoenix, and Toledo Symphonies and the Rhode Island Philharmonic. This past summer she performed at the Ojai, La Jolla, Santa Fe, Moab, Bridgehampton, and SaltBay Music Festivals.Click here to buy tickets!!!
