Exploring Outer Space

An evening on Outer Space with David Mestre AB’89, Director of Space Science at the newly renovated Discovery Museum.

Please join us for a special evening of Outer Space at The Discovery Museum and Planetarium. This will be a great event for alums and their older children and teens. David Mestre '89, Director of Space Science Education at the Museum (B.A., Astronomy and Astrophysics, Harvard University; M.S., Physics and Astronomy, University of Pennsylvania), will give a lecture on outer space and a demonstration of our state of the art space education facility - the Challenger Learning Center.   Weather-permitting, David will bring out our high-powered telescopes to give guests a novel viewing of the night sky.  Wine and cheese will be served.  The talk will begin at 6:30.
