Artisan Cheese Tasting
Local Cheesemonger Chris Palumbo will select seven unique cheeses and discuss each cheese on Zoom
On March 4 Chris Palumbo, chief cheesemonger and co-founder of of the Fairfield Cheese shop and the Greenwich Cheese shop will guide us through a tasting of of seven the the finest and most interesting cheeses. Chris has great relationships with many small artisan New England cheese makers, cheese producers worldwide, as well as both importers and distributors. He will select an interesting and diverse assortment for our members.
A few days before the Zoom event, you will pick up your basket of cheeses, bread, and crackers at either the Fairfield Cheese shop or the Greenwich Cheese shop. Chris will include some wine recommendations for those who wish to pair wines with the cheeses that will range from Brie to Blue. The tasting and seminar will take about an hour with additional time for questions.
