Italian Dinner at Columbus Park Trattoria

Private three-course dinner at highly-regarded Stamford eatery named among Connecticut Magazine's "Best Italian" restaurants for 2020

What began as a small family business has now grown to include three very successful restaurants in Fairfield County.  The Marchetti fmaily opened Columbus Park Trattoria in Stamford in 1985, followed by Osteria Applausi in Old Greenwich and Tarantino in Westport.  Their spacious, warmly-decorated private room known as Columbus Park Upstairs, where we will dine, enjoys its own entrance, kitchen, and bar, affording privacy and dedicated service while we enjoy the same fabulous regional and national Italian dishes the restaurant is known for.  The atmosphere is intimate, and the large windows provide a stunning view over Columbus Park.

Enjoy catching up with HCFC alumni while enjoying antipasti including meatballs, calamari, and shrimp cocktail.  Dinner will include a salad of greens, salmon, sauteed chicken breast in champagne sauce, and veal scallopini Sorrentino.  Souffle dessert and coffee will follow, along with zeppole, Italian pastries traditionally eaten especially on the date we will be dining, March 19 (St. Joseph's Day).

Chef Michael Marchetti will also speak with us during dinner about the menu and the business.

Thursday, March 19, 2020.  6 pm.  205 Main Street, Stamford.

HCFC members and their guests, $52.  Non-members, $62.  Includes meal, tax, and tip.  Cash bar separate.
