Opening Night at the Norwalk Symphony

We have a block of front orchestra seats for the Norwalk Symphony's season-opening concert, conducted by Harvard alumnus Jonathan Yates.

The program features Arvo Part's Fratres, Beethoven's Violin Concerto, and Sibelius's Symphony No. 5.

The visiting violin soloist will be Francisco Fullana, winner of the 2018 Avery Fisher Career Grant.  He has been called a "rising star" by BBC Music Magazine and a "paragon of delicacy" by San Fancisco's Classical Voice, and his 2016 recital debut at Carnegie Hall was dubbed "perfection" by New York Classical Review.

The concert will begin at 8 pm at the Norwalk Concert Hall adjacent to City Hall, 125 East Avenue.  We will have a pre-performance champagne reception for the HCFC group, and there will be a post-performance reception for the whole audience with the conductor and musicians.  Registration is $35 for HCFC members and their guests, $45 for non-members.
