April Conservation Event - Harvard Day of Giving in Fairfield County

Come join members of Trout Unlimited who will gather on that day to do some cleaning work, planting and river improvements in order to preserve the natural fish habitat.

As part of the Harvard Month of Giving program, members of the Harvard Club of Fairfield County with be joining with Trout Unlimited to help with preserving a natural fish habitat in Wilton.

The morning will start with a brief presentation on the local work being done by Trout Unlimited. Tony Hill, President of the Mianus Chapter of Trout Unlimited, Dean Keister, Vice President, and Jeff Yates, Acting Director of Volunteer Operations, will be present to share their knowledge and passions.

Wear boots, bring gloves and shovels for the work.

The morning will conclude with hamburgers and hot dogs provided by the Mianus Chapter of Trout Unlimited.  People can fish upstream of the project site, but must have a CT Fishing License, obtainable online at https://www.ct.wildlifelicense.com.
