Autumn Apple-Picking Outing
Join us for a family-friendly classic New England autumn outing at Blue Jay Orchards, 125 Plumtrees Road, Bethel, CT, Saturday, September 18 at 11:00 am
Savor the early fall weather, the first of the foliage, and classic New England scenery in this nearby orchard, and hand-pick your favorite apples, while enjoying the company of HCFC members and families. To start the day, we'll meet for cider, doughnuts, and coffee on the lawn, and then visit the orchard as a group. Blue Jay also has wagon rides and a pumpkin patch (at a separate charge).
Registration includes a pre-paid bag for your apples (the only way pick-your-own apples are sold at the orchard), and light refreshments. Saturday, September 18 at 11:00 am. (rain date - only if notified by the club by email - Sunday, September 19 at 11:00 am). Per the farm's rules, no pets, please.
Members and their guests:
$25 per person (with a medium bag of apples for each registrant), or $50 per family (with a single, large bag of apples for the family)
Non-members:
$30 per person (with a medium bag of apples for each registrant), or $65 per family (with a single, large bag of apples for the family)
