Local autobiographer Mike Hayes will recount his perilous adventures and the lessons that can be learned from high stakes experiences. His book will be released in February.

Join the HCFC for the fourth event in our local author series.  Mike Hayes, Westport resident, Harvard Kennedy School Alumnus, and former Navy SEAL Commander will speak about his soon-to-be-released autobiography--NEVER ENOUGH: A Navy Seal Commander on Living a Life of Excellence, Agility, and Meaning.  He will recount his once-in- -lifetime adventures: being held at gunpoint and threatened with execution, jumping out of a building about to explode, amputating a colleague's leg etc.  He will explain how the skills he acquired prepared him to negotiate international arms treaties, develop innovative corporate strategies, and run meetings in the White House Situation Room. His advice will help motivate others to live the fullest lives that they can and to reach their potentials. The book will be available through Barnes and Noble or Amazon.  Mike is donating proceeds of book sales to a 501c3 charity that helps Gold Star families pay off their mortgages.
