Is entrepreneurship possible in today’s large corporation?

HBS Professor Leondard Schlesinger will lead a discussion on the nature of required changes and the kinds of actions participants might take to improve their managerial and organization capacity for entrepreneurially driven improvement.

Join us for a dinner program with HBS Professor Leonard Schlesinger on March 24, 2105.

Many observers loudly lament the perceived inability of large organizations to adapt to the pace and content of the changes in their respective business environments.  The management literature highlights the systematic inability of organizations to “exploit” and “explore” simultaneously. Yet there are an increasing number of examples that counter this prevailing wisdom and an emerging literature that gives us insight into how these organizations are managing the changes necessary for successful adaptation.  Professor Schlesinger, a leading expert on entrepreneurship, service management and organizational management, will lead a discussion on the nature of these required changes and the kinds of actions participants might take to improve their managerial and organization capacity for entrepreneurially driven improvement.
