Wolf Conservation Center

See wolves up close and hear from expert conservationists

On Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11 am to 1 pm the Harvard Club of Fairfield County will visit the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem, NY (just across the border from Ridgefield and New Canaan) for a private tour and discussion.

Founded in 1999, the Wolf Conservation Center is an environmental education organization working to protect and preserve wolves in North America through science-based education, advocacy, and participation in the federal recovery and release programs for two critically endangered wolf species - the Mexican gray wolf and the red wolf.   Around 50 wolves live at the center, including 3 "ambassador wolves" who are part of the public programs.  The first half of our visit will include classroom discussion about wolves in North America, and the second half will be outside on the grounds, where we will get to see the ambassador wolves, from outside the enclosure.

$15 for adults and children 12 and older.  $11 for children under 12.

NO food or pets allowed.
